Banca d’Italia granted permission to UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt. to calculate the capital requirement for operational risk using Advanced Measurement Approach (AMA)

Referring to the application of the UniCredit Group the Banca d’Italia as the competent home supervisory authority, according to the Joint Decision signed by the HFSA as well, has granted by its resolution (No. 65258 as of 21/01/2009) permission to UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt. to calculate capital requirement for operational risk using Advanced Measurement Approach (AMA) as of 1 July, 2009.

According to Paragraph (6) of Section 14/B of the Act CXII of 1996 on Credit institutions and Financial Enterprises the above mentioned resolution of the Banca d’Italia is binding in its entirety and directly applicable in Hungary.
