The Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) was approved by the ECOFiN on 7th June, 2006 and by the European Parliament on 14th June, 2006 (in a co-decision procedure). The eventual text of the Directive is available on the website of the European Committee

The 2000/12/EK directive has been modified by the 2006/48/EK directive, and the 93/6/EGK directive has been modified by the 2006/49/EK directive.
